PRICES PER PARTICIPANT or COMPANION

The cost of the whole Tour is 2,890€

(single room supplement - 690€).

These prices include accommodation (in a shared room), pi-nic lunch during the cycling and dinner on the night before each stage. Also included is transportation for the participant, luggage and bike from Lisbon (including airport pick-up) to Chaves and from Sagres back to Lisbon. 

For those doing only a few stages of the Tour, the price of each of the individual stages are as follows:

Approx. 1000 Km later, the end of the 19th TRAVESSIA (TransPortugal Tour) in Sagres.

Registration is limited to 30 participants per day. Preference will be given to those doing the whole Tour, or to those registered for the greatest number of stages (in this order).

There may be stages (at the weekend and on public holidays) when we can organize more groups with 10 participants each.

In some of the villages where we will be staying overnight, hotel accommodation is very limited. In these cases we may have to use more simple hotels or B&Bs. When booking the hotels, the Organizers will always give priority for the best hotels to those who registered first.

  • Accommodation in hotels and “pousadas”, sharing a twin room

Following exactly the same route you can do the Tour at different paces. Either follow our guides or use a Garmin GPS to follow the routes pre-downloaded by the Organizers.

All the participants must be covered by an insurance apropriate for the activity. In the case of an accident, CICLONATUR or any of its employees, cannot be held responsible for the consequences that this accident might cause to the participants or to their possessions. Proof that the participant is insured for the duration of the tour must be provided before the date of start.

There are 2 types of COMPANIONS:
1 - Those who are transported by the Organization and have exactly the same rights as a participant .
2 - Those who travel by their own means and only have their lodgings and evening meals booked and paid by the Organizers.
The first are requested to register the same way a participant does. The second are requested to call the Organizers for availability and prices. In both cases payment should be done directly to the Organization. Payment must always be made in advance.
